Recordings mix your microphone with the meeting audio. Use headphones to avoid echo. Voice memos recorded on the phone are transcribed here while this app is open.

The key is sent only to the Claude API and never included in backups. When remembered it is stored in this browser profile, readable by anyone using this Windows account; untick to keep it only until the browser closes. Create a key at console.anthropic.com; usage is billed to your Anthropic account.

Storage & backup

Back up your notes, and keep disk space under control.

Automatic backup

Pick a folder once, ideally one that syncs to the cloud (Google Drive for Desktop, OneDrive). A few minutes after you stop editing, today's notes are saved there, and a full backup with recordings once a week. The last 7 daily and 2 full backups are kept. If the browser asks for access again after a restart, choose "Allow on every visit".

The backup file holds all pages, recordings and settings (not the API key). Linked videos are not inside the backup — keep the original files. Keep it outside this laptop too, e.g. on a flash drive or Google Drive.
